"I was sorry not to see Louise and the rest of
the crew to say goodbye. I can confirm again that everyone
really enjoyed their stay. Having lead tours all over
the world, and having stayed in a huge variety of lodges,
hotels and guest houses, I can honestly say that Afton
Grove is one of the nicest, most birder-friendly places
I have ever visited. Staying in lots of different places
has made me quite critical of accommodation choices
but I cannot find one thing wrong with Afton. All the
staff are superb, the food excellent, the rooms perfect
down to the last detail and the location ideal. Please
do pass my thanks on to everyone for making our stay
so enjoyable."
